About Us

Welcome to Western Sydney Bush Native Nursery, a haven for native plant enthusiasts seeking the best of Western Sydney's local provenance. Established in June 2021 by the skilled and passionate sibling duo, Belinda and Daniel Smart, we bring over two decades of combined experience in managing native nurseries across the Sydney region.

We specialise in offering local provenance species from the Cumberland Plain Woodlands that are often challenging to grow or source through conventional nursery supply chains.

Whether you're a seasoned landscaper or a gardening enthusiast eager to embrace the beauty of indigenous plants, we have you covered.

At Western Sydney Bush Native Nursery, we take pride in our ability to cater to diverse landscape needs. Our nursery stocks a variety of native species in 140mm pots, and we can grow to order, tailoring our offerings to suit your specific requirements. We also cultivate tube stock plants, with many of our clients engaging with us early to maximise the diversity of their projects.

We take our conservation efforts a step further by offering local provenance populations that are now "locally" or "regionally" extinct in certain Western Sydney local government areas. Our commitment to the environment extends to growing ground covers in trays, ideal for landscaping or rapidly covering open ground, promoting sustainability and biodiversity.

Join us at Western Sydney Bush Native Nursery, where we not only provide exceptional plants but also foster a community dedicated to preserving Australia's natural heritage.

Let's work together to create thriving landscapes and restore the native beauty of our cherished region, one plant at a time.
